The Penobscot River Chapter

Our chapter is a lively community of individuals who share a profound love for the Maine outdoors and a dedication to wildlife conservation.

  • Trapping, a tradition deeply rooted in Maine's heritage, has been practiced for centuries.
  • We take pride in upholding this tradition in a responsible and sustainable manner, whether you are a seasoned trapper or a beginner.
  • Our support includes educational resources, training sessions, and a welcoming community to help you refine your skills and enhance your knowledge of Maine's Furbearers and their significance to the Maine Ecosystem.

We are more than just a trappers' association.

  • Our chapter values the companionship and shared adventures that come from spending time in nature.
  • We organize regular outings, events, and gatherings to enable members to bond, exchange knowledge, and create lasting memories.

If you have a passion for wildlife conservation, trapping, or simply enjoy the Maine outdoors we extend a warm invitation to join us.
